Kathryn Erbe

  Kathryn Elsbeth Erbe was born July 5, 1965. Her most famous role is her performance in Law & Order: Criminal Intent as Alexandra Eames.



 



 Early life



 Erbe was the daughter of Richard Erbe and Elsbeth Erbe. She was born in Newton Massachusetts. Her father, Richard Erbe is a geneticist. She completed her studies at New York University (NYU) in 1989.



 



 Career



 As a student in the undergraduate program at NYU, Erbe was cast as the daughter of Lynn Redgrave's character in the sitcom Chicken Soup.
